The ArtemiS suite supports three license management variants for the efficient application and administration of the software:
local license, Net license and Net(+) license. |
| The simplest form is a local license on a dongle, which can be used with any computer ArtemiS suite is installed on. |

| For companies with several users, Net licenses and Net(+) licenses allow an optimal use and organization of resources in a network. All licenses are stored centrally on a dongle or on a server computer, from which the individual users can select their respective required software options from a list and return them after use. This provides users with a high degree of flexibility and allows the ArtemiS suite to be used where it is actually needed. |
| As opposed to Net licenses, Net(+) also allows licenses to be used, for a limited period, on computers not connected to the network (“borrowing”). Beyond the advantages of Net licenses, this allows users to extend the use of Net(+) licenses to applications outside the network. |
