OctoBox+ completes the product offer of the "small" mobile front ends with up to four input channels and of the "big" multi-channel front ends. Up to eight microphones, RPM sensors and other sensors can be simultaneously connected to the Line/ICP® inputs of the OctoBox+. OctoBox+ has two USB inputs, e.g. for connecting an artifical head, a device to CAN data acquisition or for a USB dongle. In this way, the digital artifical head system HMS can be combined with the 8-channel OctoBox+ to form a high performance and perfectly harmonized measurement system. For measuring RPM data two electrically isolated pulse inputs are available whith an upper critical frequency for input pulses of 5 kHz. OctoBox+ works without a cooling fan and excels with its light weight. The built-in battery allows up to four to six hours of stand-alone operation making it the perfect solution for mobile use.
